Travis Kelce’s interest in music is coming in clutch!

The Kansas City Chiefs star, who doubles as the host of Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity, put his music knowledge on full display in an upcoming episode of Prime Video’s game show that premieres on Oct. 23.

In a new clip shared with PEOPLE exclusively, Kelce puts the power in YouTube star Lilly Singh’s hands to save a contestant from elimination as they hilariously discuss a question about different types of instruments.

The series sees prize hopefuls rely on the help of various stars who are tapped to assist contestants in answering elementary school questions in a range of subjects (rather than compete against students like in the original series, hosted by Jeff Foxworthy) in an attempt to win $100,000.

“The saxophone is a member of what family of instruments?” was the question asked in the new epsiode.

Panelists Chad Ochocinco, Garcelle Beauvais, Ron Funches and Natasha Leggero wrote their answers down while Singh was at the podium in attempt to “save” the constant who called on her help.

The answers submitted by the stars were varied. Ochocinco wrote down “brass,” Leggero and Funches each submitted “wind,” while Beauvais wrote “horn,” which resulted in a laugh from the audience and Kelce.

Ultimately, none of the celebrities answered the prompt correctly. “Woodwind” was the right response, which caused the stars to speculate about the differences between instruments.

“Wait, is woodwind different than wind?” asked Leggero, before hilariously adding, “Why am I asking you Travis?” As the audience chuckled at her quip, Travis said he would clarify the confusion for her.

“It is a more specific version of the wind,” he confidently confirmed, while Leggero replied, “I knew you would know that!”

The Super Bowl winner went on to elaborate, flexing his knowledge of the instrument. “I believe there is a wooden piece that goes onto…” he began, before Ochocinco chimed in to finish his sentence, adding, “the reed.”

Kelce confirmed that was the piece he was referring to, however, he hilariously called out the former NFL wide receiver for writing “brass” as his answer. The crowd, along with the celebrities, burst into laughter at the host’s playful dig.

Despite the celebrities answering the question wrong, it didn’t matter because Singh was the star called upon to save the contestant if he answered the prompt incorrectly. If her answer is correct, the cheat is “automatically activated” and the contestant would still be “alive” in the game.

Singh, meanwhile, isn’t a musician herself. She’s notable for her short-form comedy channels across socials, boasting over 14.5 million YouTube subscribers and more than 1.5 billion views.

If Singh wrote down “anything else” besides “woodwind,” Kelce confirmed the contestant would “be done.” The teaser clip ends before revealing what the YouTube star wrote down, which would ultimately decide the contestant’s fate in the game.

In a previous interview with PEOPLE ahead of the game show’s premiere, Kelce called Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? a “nice little twist” of the game show classic, sharing that he “always thought that was a really fun show.”

He added, “Now that I had a chance to revamp it a little bit, kind of make it my own and I don’t know… I was really excited about it.”
