Across the political spectrum, Americans are condemning a move that directly contradicts Biden’s repeated assurances that he would allow justice to take its course without personally intervening.

For months, Biden and his allies insisted they would not insert themselves into Hunter’s legal troubles. The media echoed this narrative, portraying Biden as a principled leader who respected the rule of law. Yet the pardon exposes those claims as hollow.
