KFC Launches Taylor Swift-Inspired ‘Tender Era’ Menu: A Delicious Tribute to Pop Culture

Never in our wildest dreams did we think KFC would offer a meal combo inspired by Taylor Swift, yet here we are.

As the 34-year-old “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” songstress prepares to wrap up her international Eras Tour in the coming weeks, the fried chicken chain has the means to energize her through every last show—and believe it or not, there’s less than 10 dates left!️️

Earlier this week, KFC revealed its “Combo 13,” featuring a chicken tender meal, fries and a drink. Promotional photos also showed two variations of Swifties’ DIY friendship bracelets made to trade at shows, reading “Tenders” and “Ranch Queen.”

“11 Herbs & Spices + 1 Ketchup + 1 Seemingly Ranch= Combo 13 🫶,” the brand added in the caption of its Wednesday, Nov. 13, Instagram upload, noting that for every Combo 13 purchased, KFC would donate $1 to Second Harvest to help provide healthy meals to people facing food insecurity.

“Friendship included, bracelets not.,” KFC quipped.

Does it sound too good to be true? Well, bad news for stateside fans…this combo appears to only be available in Canada.

It is a real menu offering, though, with the fast food brand doubling down in a second post, featuring the face of the restaurant, Colonel Sanders, who ultimately promoted the combo during Thursday night’s Eras Tour concert in Toronto. The company also enlisted the help of influencer Chris Olsen to help get the word out.

“I don’t know about yooou…” the caption began, quoting Swift’s “22” lyrics. “But the Colonel is in his Tender Era 🫶 #Combo13.”

Swift’s final string of international dates kicked off on Nov. 14 in Canada, with her first of six shows at Toronto’s Rogers Centre featuring opener Gracie Abrams.

After the Toronto concerts, the international pop superstar’s Eras Tour will go to Vancouver, where her final show is scheduled at the BC Place on Dec. 8.
